Yunus Emre Elementary School

Our school was built in 1976 and its name was BAĞLAR Elementary School.

Its name changed to YUNUS EMRE Elementary School in 1985.

Our school has three buildings. We have 37 classrooms, 3861 students, 96 teachers, 2 officials and 6 employees.

We have a kindergarten with 40 students.

We also have a library and a laboratory which students use in Science and Nature lessons.

Students of our school come from the Mevlana Halit Quarter.

The families in this quarter aren't very wealty and they have too many children. Because of that our classrooms are too crowded and this sometimes causes problems.

Our school is at the end of Koşuyolu Park, on the corner of Oryıl and accros the Atatürk High School.
